They cut to commercial mid-song! and it wasn't a Letterman cut, either. Came BACK from commercial when he was telling them how great he thought it was! Local station fail! In their home town, too! Lame!
Way to ruin my evening, Charlotte CBS affiliate!

CBS is good for the Masters, college basketball, and this one Avett appearance...... You cut me short on the 18th green at Augusta this year we'll have a problem.
F-ing WBTV Charlotte just showed why they are BUSH LEAGUE! They looked great and sounded great. To bad I didn't see the end......F WBTV. We need to call these numb nuts and let them know that a local band was making a NATIONAL debut tonight and WBTV showed absolutely NO CLASS!

I only tuned in to WBTV tonight for TAB. NEVER AGAIN!! (That is until they"re on Craig Ferguson)
They really suck. Im surprised they didnt bust in mid song to give us the breaking weather.

their National TV debut actually came on Conan 2 yrs ago brotha..... and would you Charlotte North Kakalacks quit yer crying??!! For Pete's (not our Pete) sake, you out of all the peeps in the world have had the most exposure to this band outside of their own family!!! talk about greedy!!!

Ya know, although I was sooooooooooo upset and disappointed when this happened last night, I am actually starting to think that this might work in the boys favor! WBTV sounds very apologetic and like they are willing to make it up bigtime, perhaps even showing the segment in it's entirety, during the 6 or 11 o'clock news! They are playing the entire audio version as I type and cry...And just all of the buzz that this will generate, well. it may just be a marketing miracle! Anyway, sniff...
The WBTV guy even threw out some sort of a special in addition to rebroadcasting tonight - if they can get the rights to broadcast...going to an upcoming concert....did I hear that correctly or was I just dreaming it?
