Their live albums are always fun to listen to, but it's also a double-edged sword because it makes you wish with all your heart that you were there with them. I especially like this version of Smoke in our Lights.

Just picked this one up at the STL show and it is amazing. Much different song selections than what you would hear nowadays, but also gives you a look into other interpretations of some old favorites. Definately an awesome recording.

I love that so many TAB songs get transformed from one recording to the next and one performance to another. This album often gives you an entirely new experience while listening to a familiar song.

I have this wierd atraction to your music and I cant stop listening . This doesn.t always happen with me the last band was Blind melon Shanon Hoons Voice was amazing and his songs so personal [mouthful of cavities] . When I heard Smoke in our lights,and " your the words in a song that Shanon Hoon sang to me". I knew I had become obsessed with the Avett Brothers . The brotherly harmony tugs at my heart

Though they've improved a lot as musicians, if you listen to a live recording of a song today compared to ones here. But I still say that the version of November Blue on here should be considered the definitive version.

I want to buy this cd. TAB live is the best show I've ever been too. Their so full of life, the energy is busting out every which way. I can't wait to see them again. Someone needs to take me to the show on the 17th in New York ;D It's my birthday. That would be enough present for years.

This was the first TAB album I owned. A lot of times, I prefer live albums, and I picked a good one to start with. A while back I gave a copy to my girlfrend and told her "Offering" was my song to her. I think she fell deeper in love with me with every line of that song that she heard. Thanks, fellas!

And btw, I had assumed for a long time that the last three tracks were recorded at a different show. I wonder why the audio kind of went to sh*t there? Still a killer version of Please Pardon Yourself...love the crowd, screamin' their lungs out...

I thought this album was a little disappointing compared to an actual show. I thought it would capture the energy of a show, but is misses a bit. It is still a great listen, but the sound quality really drops off on the last 3 or 4 songs for some reason.

Buy the album but go to a show for a real live album.

The best way to hear The Avett Brothers, live. Smoke In Our Lights is the most mysterious love song, and everyone must get chills when Seth sings of a "back and forth swing". A great starter album due to the track selection, Pretty Girl from Raleigh is an all time favorite - energy right of the bat, the only way I've heard this song is live on cd or in person.

I listen to this cd at least 5 times a week. There is nothing like the feeling of a live show, but if you turn the music up really loud in the car while driving down 40, and maybe have a buddy along shotgun singin along, feels pretty close. Top 10 Avett brothers CD.

How can a live album be this good? Its easy The Avett Brothers made it. This is why they are one of the greatest band to come around. They can play as good live if not better than they can in the studio. That says alot about a band. Thanks guys keep up the great work!
