Awesome live album. It makes me wish I was there in the audience. I loved the way the Avetts interacted with the crowd and Seth having to restart The Ballad of Love and Hate was so cute!

Live Volume 3 is AMAZING!!!! 10 Thumbs up!!!!!! A friend introduced me to your band a few weeks ago. She had me watch your live show that was on TV and I seriously fell in love with the words to your songs and your voices the second I heard you. The first song I ever heard was Kick Drum Heart and I loved it, then I heard Murder in the City and a million tears flowed from my eyes and I was instantly hooked. I had goosebumps.I lost my father 9 yrs ago and my family is so important to me and that song is what I needed to hear that day. You guys have amazing songs and the vibe you give off is intense!! I will forever love you guys! When I am having dark days your music has become the light (that I always needed but never had until now) to find my way through it. Keep rockin' our socks off and sharing your soul with us. We all appreciate it very much! We love you guys!! God Bless!!!

This is seriously one of my FAVORITE albums of all time of any artist. This show also comes on TV a lot and I watch it every single time. Love y'all!!!! Keep up the good work!! :)

i recently got a lot of money from my job and went to every music store in the area and bought this as many times as possible cause all of my friends dont seem to know about the avett brothers and it seem like everysingle one has nothing at ALL to say about this album or any other!!!!! freaking cant wait till The Avett Brothers get to Dallas

Great album! There's nothing like the avett brothers live. This album really shows the energy and excitement there is at an Avett Brothers show. There still isn't anything like seeing them in person. A must have.

I just got this CD for Christmas from my sweet baby sister (she is the one that introduced me to the Avett Bros) and I have not stopped listening to it. I swear I got chills between "Paranoia in B Major" and "Distraction #74" when the crowd did the encore and they came back. I got tears in my eyes and chills went through my body! My favorite song of all is "November Blue" because it was my sister's Senior class' song.....so awesome! Everytime I hear it, I get so happy and sad at the same time because now she is off at college and I miss her so much! She is my heart and the Avett Brothers music reminds me of her so I LOVE IT!

I just got this little gem in the mail Friday and I can't stop listening to it. The Avett Brothers on studio album is only topped by one thing: The Avett Brothers live in concert. This cd is amazing from start to finish. Keep it coming, guys.

having just seen these talented dudes in San Fran a month and a half ago and for the first time even ever hearing about these dudes.....totally blown away. A+ boys. I have since then aquried all there music and again blown away. Hey Avett Brothers come and play in Vancouver and I will be pleased

No lie.....I have listened to this album every single day since it came out. I love the rawness of it and see a lot of passion in this album that bands all over the world try to bottle but cannot come close. The Avetts are blowing up....and I feel they will never lose that connection with their music and fans! Imagine singing Killed Sally's Lover at the top of your lungs in front of that crowd. I need to learn how to play the banjo...that is my next goal

I don't think I have taken this out of my cd player since I brought it home.

I cannot stop listening to this most awesome, beautiful, kinda-sad, real music. I have forsaken all else for the last almost two weeks now - I think I might be driving everyone totally crazy with my addiction.

Absolutely incredible CD and DVD! I think I am obsessed with the Avett Brother’s. (but my husband is too, so I think it’s OK!) This CD really does capture the energy of their live performances. “The Ballad of Love and Hate” is amazing. I only wish they left the false start of that song in the DVD.

My mother,from Central America, 58 years old...singing and giggling while I play "I Killed Sallys Lover"....she wants me to burn a cd for her....I told her Id do better, Ill get her first and own Avett cd...she's hooked! We don't have the best of relationships but giggling with her in the car while singing to Head Full of Doubt together....Good lord...you reach deep deep deep,you guys...you won't ever know how deep ^___^<3
