I was here:) They shook my hand:) They signed my aunt's c.d:) The performance was amazing:)I had fun:)My cousin was jealous:)She wants the Avett Brothers to write a song about here (If the Avett Brothers are reading this my cousin's name is Sammy and she thinks that she is a super model/spy):)Just to see the Avett Brothers, my aunt drove us in her car for 1 hour and 30 minutes:)

Hi Guys,
Just want to thank you for such an ethereal show tue. night in Ann Arbor. It was magic that couldn't have come at a better time.
We truly enjoyed meeting each of you and not only appreciate your humoring us, but most of all your kindness, sweet spirits and beautiful music. Jacoby, our 9 year old, loved his poster, and of course Amanda and I have had no shame in flaunting our photos.
We're now dreaming of our gang road tripping to N.C. in our old valiant, to see a show in your home town.
Anyway, Meadow and I were just watching the rain while listening to your album and I felt compelled to share our gratitude. Hope you soaked up all the lovin' from your babes and their mamas back home, and are fueled for your European journey. We wish you the best.

My wife bought the latest album last year and she then decided to buy tickets to the Michigan Theater show way back in September. Two most excellent decisions (my wife makes all the great decisions in our house). We were three rows back from the stage tonight

I have only stood/danced through two entire concerts in my life (not taking a seat once), U2 at the Palace about 10 years ago and the second show was tonight.

It was incredible, moving and just plain fun. Hopefully next time you come back to Ann Arbor there will be a later finish time on the permit for that encore.

Safe travels across the pond! Thanks again for an unforgettable night of music!

I live in Minnesota. I'm going to be seeing you guys tonight in Minneapolis. I was working in Detroit and flew back for a few reasons but tonight was a big one. I'm flying back out to Michigan on Sunday and I'm going to try to see the show there on Tuesday. But this I'm even more excited for. I haven't read any of the other posts here to see if someone already wrote the details for the borders performance. I just called the store sand they said they will be giving out wrist bands when the store opens at 9 am first come first served. Can't wait!

I will be traveling from Lansing to A2 early Tuesday morning to ensure myself a wristband. But I have nobody to go with, and was wondering if there was anyone from Lansing that would like to travel with me. I will be coming back to Lansing after the noon performance, just to pick up the rest of my party for the evening show. i would totally drive over to a2 for the in store, but i'm almost 3 hours away from my alma mater, so i'd have to leave at like 6am to be guaranteed a wristband. that's a huge disappointment, as i just moved back up north from florida 3 weeks ago and was psyched to see y'all were going to be somewhat in my area. i will try to make the show at the state though.

wristbands

Just spoke w/Debbie @ Borders, sounds like you're going to need a wristband for entry - Borders starts handing out wristbands @ 9am when their store opens- there are only appx 350 for the second floor performance. Once you have your wristband, you should go upstairs to wait for the show that starts @ noon as it is GA (there are a few chairs, but most will stand). Official camera policy is no video, still shots w/out flashes allowed. After the mini-show, the boys will then sign/mee/greet, but you have to purchase a cd to gain entry to the signing line. Borders is located right across the street from the venue TAB will be playing later that night. Also, seems as though the show is for the most part, sold out. I just got tix by calling 734.763.tkts - they just happened to open up six (i got two). The day of the show, the Michigan Theatre box office will open @ 6:30 and will have appx 20 "bench" seats on the floor for $26/ea, first come first serve. Hope this helps, see y'all @ the show!
