Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!

 We are so thrilled to announce that we will be performing at this year's BONNAROOOOO!! Visit bonnaroo.com for ticket information and the full lineup!

Pre-Sale or General Public??

With all these horror stories about pre-sale it makes me wonder if I should try to buy through the general public sale instead, as both sets of tix are going on sale at the same time for me. Very sad and frustrating. Wish pre-sale was really a PRE-SALE and wish there was a way to reserve them for true fans!

Terminal 5 show literally sold out by 12:00:30. Refreshed the page, hit buy tickets, which redirected me back to the main page saying sold out. It's not the band's fault (obviosuly) or even the website's fault. It's the computer ticket buyers that sign on at one second past 12, hundreds of times and buy 8 tickets at a time. Everybody needs to make a dollar, but doing so at the expense of fans who may not have double the face value to shell out on the now overpriced stubhub tickets is horrendous. Hopefully there will be better security measures in the future that will allow a ticket site to detect an automated buyer.

That being said, I will be praying to get some tickets when the actual sale starts, and if not, I will put my tail between my legs and get one on stubhub, because even if the tickets were $100 each, the avett bros would still be worth it.

I've been a long time fan but today am sorely disappointed. I'd rearranged my schedule to obtain tickets and what a colossal waste of my time. I stand by your side, Avett Bros. but today DETROIT got no R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

What an awful fan experience with pre-sale. Logged on at 12pm, site was un-useable and kept throwing an error no matter what combo I entered, then pointed me to select seats using seat map which has no interactive capability, just an image. Then at 12:04, pre-sale sold out. Limited supply for a great experience like the Avetts is fine, but not when the game as prescribed is so broken. Low moment in my Avetts experience.

Ok....REALLY getting frustrated. Where is Detroit's pre-sale? Everyone keeps changing their dates! What's the point of pre-sale if you can't even use it? Sad

What's up with the Detroit show on presale? It's gone missing!

Just received the presale info but it appears to be useless. Can anyone tell me why the Kettering, Ohio, show presale starts Saturday 2/25...one hour AFTER tickets go on sale to the general public? That would make this a "post-sale" password...this is making me sad:-(

Where did the date for the Detroit show on May 18th go?

I just recieved my e-mail pre-sale password but the Show at the Filmore in Detroit on May 18th is not listed? What gives? I will be sad if there's no show there.

I have been waiting for the pre-sale for days. First they said, Feb 20th, then the 21st, now today it says the 22nd. Ticketmaster says the 29th. Frustration ensues...

Cannot wait until the Fraze Pavillion Show in Kettering, Ohio. Not only local , but one of my favorite venues for outdoor events. Could not have asked for better tour news!!

I'm subscribed to the newsletter and the presale passwords get sent to my email {usually the morning of}. You can purchase tix directly from the email they send.

I too am confused about the internet presale. I am thrilled about the show in Sacramento, but on ticketmaster the presale began yesterday and ends Friday, yet it says here that for all the new tour dates the email list pre-sale takes place on February 21st. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Saturday according to ticketmaster, that is before the email list presale, which doesn't make sense to me. Any thoughts or clarifications would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Does anyone know how you get the pre-sale email or password or whatever is necessary to buy tickets 2/21 at noon? If you are a newsletter subscriber or facebook fan does it automatically get sent to you? Do you buy through this site or from the local venue? Never done this before but want to make sure to get GREAT seats in O-H-I-O!
