NPR music will be host to an exclusive first listen of I and Love and You now through September 29th!
This means, starting today you can hear our new album,in it's entirety, right here!

Tune into David Letterman on Monday, September 28th and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Tuesday, October 6th.

I have been an Avett Brothers fan for many years...since their early days playing AWESOME music at bluegrass festivals and the likes. Well, I was looking forward to some new tunes, but not a new band. What happened to the Avett Brothers I knew and loved? What happened to the BANJO?! And Rick Rubin? Really??? What a let down. The Avett Brothers were something special. They were different. Now they sound like all the rest

The flow from one song into the next is like a well told story. Loving "Head full of doubt" and "Ten Thousand Words" - the guitar is amazing on this one. Great variety. I closed my eyes and let the music carry me....lots of different emotions and images. Nobody does that quite like The Avett Brothers. Love it.

Late to the game, but ordered my deluxe box set today! Also listening to the album all day on NPR. Thanks guys...gotta say that " ten thousand words" is moving me ! One of my faves... the only thing that is a bit dissapointing is that " Late in life" isn't on the new LP...oh well...we'll get it someday...=0)

I am not going to lie. I was a bit nervous about this album and I had my doubts. I absolutely love it! This is not the Avett Brothers that we are all used to but the album is great. Its full of truth and emotion. I can't go and say it's their best work but it is something new and different. Cheers to the Avett's! Traveling from Minnesota, I can't wait to see you in Iowa!

I am trying NOT to cry here at work - I am so happy to be able to listen to the whole damn album NOW!!!! To tell you fans the truth, I could not wait until 9/29. It was torture for me. I cannot wait to get my box set. Until then, I can listen with sheer joy and humbling emotions to the best band of musicians to arrive at the doormat of fame in over 30 years.
