That was awesome! You guys make North Carloina proud!

what a contrast btwn lady gaga/usher/eminem and then mumford/avetts/dylan. made you seem even more real than you are. and you didn't even look nervous! nicely done-

it was so great to see you on the Grammys. I am so proud of you, almost like my kids up there with a legend. Do me a favor and please don't let it go to your heads. Always be yourself and don't get caught up in the craziness. Thanks for keeping it real guys. Your music brings me such joy. Love you guys. Peace.

Great set at the Grammys! I can't believe I got to see my two favourite artists share the stage. TAB and Bob Dylan represent all that is good in music, and Mumford and Sons just gained a new fan. Watching you all perform Maggie's Farm was a blast!

I was never so proud as last night when you guys took the stage. I literally was screaming and cheering. What a fine moment. It's hard to believe that two years ago, on a hot summer day, I stood outside of The Neighborhood Theatre waIting to get in to be a part of the video shoot for I&L&U. As I watched it being captured, I knew I was standing before a greatness not witnessed for at least one generation. Why? Because the music was fresh - new - magical - soul stirring. Akin to the beginning of the musical revolution of the sixties. I was lucky enough to have experienced it once. But twice? In my lifetime? OMG - no way.

So, as I watched you come to full circle yesterday with Dylan, it just seemed right and a bit scary as well. Don't get me wrong, you deserve this. But afraid that once you have been exposed to all the glitter and hype that is corporate music, you MAY-- just may, get taken in.

So, it is with trepidation I write this. Joy and fear. I wish you all the best. And next year, when you win your first Grammy, please take a second to think about that hot summer afternoon. That moment - when things began to change. May it help you to stay grounded.

Great job guys. I was so excited all day to watch your performance. One question though: did you purposely leave out the last line of the song? Just curious, because it is my favorite line and when I didn't hear it at the end, I was slightly disappointed. Loved it though! Wished you could have sang all night. See y'all in Charlotte in April!!! - t

congratulations! There were sure a lot of proud fans back here in North Carolina last night! So happy for all of you.

What an inspiring night! I've never been so excited and full of joy to hear someone sing as I was for all of you this evening, I was so proud, it felt like a victory for good music, seeing you shine on that stage! I started listening back in college thanks to Pandora and I remember from there your music being passed around the school in this amazing kind of grassroots, word of mouth way. After a good friend of mine shared a couple of your albums with me via his flash drive I couldn't get enough, there's not a song you've sang that I don't love. You're melody and lyrics seep deep into the human spirit.

You're my favorite band and it's not just because of your incredible talent as musicians - you've got heart and soul and passion that can't help but shine through all you sing. Stay genuine and humble and good-hearted, I know I love you for that, the world needs more rock stars like you! It's been an Avett Brothers celebration night at my house out here in the peaceful California foothills and I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your music and congratulations for a magical night!

I can't wait until tonight! I wonder what you're going to play for the whole world to hear--some for the first time. However it being possible for attaining The Avett Brothers Band for he Grammys-- is a stroke of genius.
Hope you all have fun...from Boston...
