Today we're giving away the knife set and 'The American Budget' network sign! Tell us below where you plan on hanging The American Budget network sign to be entered to win both items. *Please note, sign is broken in two pieces; it's up to you to piece it together!
I've got a good wood glue here, and I'm going to wood glue it back together. I'm going to fasten it to 4 4x4's, so it forms a nice coffee table or possible night stand. I'm going to put a sealant on it, for safety's sake.
I will take this sign straight to a local bar that I am a regular at in Winston-Salem that regularly plays The Avett Brothers' music and ask them to post it on the wall (and only if I still remain the owner of the sign), that way everybody can enjoy it!
Personally, I'd hang half of the TAB sign at my home over the mantle, and carry the other half in my car at all times. Plus, my birthday was the 19th and I got NO PRESENTS, and this would totally make up for it.
Also, I could use a knife set. New apartment. No cutlery. Just saying.
I would hang it / them...
Actually, I think I'll let you guys guess.
As for the knives.
Mmmmmm...
I would assume I'm gonna put 'em with my forks and spoons.
I will frame the sign as two pieces, to maintain the integrity of the art form. And just like all great art, it will be offered up for public display on a 'tour'. Kind of like the King Tut exhibit a few years ago. I'll offer up tour stops to places such as the Double Door, the Neighborhood Theatre, and What-A-Burger #13. At the conclusion of the tour, I will put the sign(s) on the wall of my music studio, then send a note to 'that guy that has everything' (sundayrehab) and say, "dude, look what I'VE got!"
Just kiddin' sundayrehab. But, serious about the tour.
The sign is not broken in two. It is two separate pieces with their own identities. I would keep them separate and use them as a backdrop for the weight bench and empty 40 bottles that stay in my front yard as if they were perpetual outdoor christmas decor. I don't know nuthin' bout no knives, but I sure as s*** would cut somethin' up with 'em.
I would frame the sign, as broken as it may be, and put it in my kitchen so I can see it when I chop veggies with those knives and sing along to your songs.
It all makes perfect sense.
I would tape that sign together and hang it in my bedroom, in fact i would frame it, and i would stare at it for days on end while listening to your cd! When my girlfriend asks me why i'm doing this i will just stare at her w/ a blank look on my face and continue to drink scotch! SAVE ME.
I work for the local cable company and there are posters hanging everywhere advertising channels. My office has none of these, but I would sure like to hang the TAB sign in my room. QVC...look out!

But their good times come with prices
And I can't believe it when I hear the jokes they make
At anyone's expese except their own
Would they laugh if they knew who paid?

I think the sign would look good hanging at the dawg house out in the country ..........maybe TAB could swing by and sell me some knives door to door. Happy Holidays, Tim
on my Christmas tree. Of course, I'd have to rework the sign into a lovely and decorative chain in order to facilitate the hanging. The knives would make a spectacular tree topper (a new take on the classic star). I plan to leave the tree up 'til next Christmas in order to get more use out of these fascinating items...if I win!
My living room (eastward side, specifically) wall needs some broken "artwork" to distract from the iron maidens, pillory, and blood splatters that otherwise adorn that side of the house.
Oh, and the knives... I'm sure I can find a special use for those as well.
You four have changed my life. I've always been inspired by your voice, Scott. I thought it sounded similiar to mine. I originally found out about you guys with the album emotionalism which has changed my life for forever. My #1 album, ever. second would be, I and Love and You.... the music is beautiful, and the lyrics are phenominal! such melody in each song. I got emotionalism, from my brother when smaller. Die die die, being a sudden great song, but as all your albums work. You like the catchy ones.....then eventually like everything. Thats another reason why i love you guys. Plus your very funny,. I love your stuff. I know you dont want to read all these boring posts.....but this knife set and poster mean alot to me. I really want it. Everyday i check the 12 days of avett. Please choose me....i would love this poster. I would hang it up on my wall....my dark brown wall in my room. Please consider me, i love your work, and i love you guys. Keep up the cool, catchy, sweet, emotion-filled music!

For sure
Above the mantle...where else?
Yao Ming
I would hang it very close to my life-sized Yao Ming poster.
THE BAR DOWNTOWN
I will take this sign straight to a local bar that I am a regular at in Winston-Salem that regularly plays The Avett Brothers' music and ask them to post it on the wall (and only if I still remain the owner of the sign), that way everybody can enjoy it!
The sign
would hang in my living room, but more importantly the knife set would be really useful because my roommate and i don't have one.
Hm...

Decorating
I've been looking for something to decorate the wall above our stereo system.

i need a good set of knives

sign
My roommates and I are all big fans so we decided to hang the sign over our mantle.
Come Home Sign
This sign belongs right between my broken QVC and Home Shopping Network signs!
On the wall of my dorm room
Best. dorm. room. ever.
Back windshield of my car!
I had a promo poster for the new album in my back windshield all summer - I would gladly replace it with another TAB sign!

TAB on Tour vs. King Tut
Merry Christmas everybody!

Need me some knives, too.

true love is not the kind of thing you should turn down - don't ever turn it down

free knives!!
happy holidays guys.
i'd put the sign just below the lid of my rubbish can.
TAB
The sign is not broken in two. It is two separate pieces with their own identities. I don't know nuthin' bout no knives, but I sure as s*** would cut somethin' up with 'em.
The Dorm
I would hang it in my Dorm living room at UNC Asheville, where a whole bunch of your fans could see it.
thank you for existing
I would frame the sign, as broken as it may be, and put it in my kitchen so I can see it when I chop veggies with those knives and sing along to your songs.
It all makes perfect sense.

To trust. To hope. To care.

I think the poster will be perfect for my garage.

TAB SIGN
I would tape that sign together and hang it in my bedroom, in fact i would frame it, and i would stare at it for days on end while listening to your cd! When my girlfriend asks me why i'm doing this i will just stare at her w/ a blank look on my face and continue to drink scotch! SAVE ME.
6th day of Avett.
The sign and knife set will be my new Halloween costume. Nothing says Halloween like being a t.v. pitchman.
Anywhere
I just reallyreally want it! Please.
Sign Sign Everwhere is Sign
I work for the local cable company and there are posters hanging everywhere advertising channels. My office has none of these, but I would sure like to hang the TAB sign in my room. QVC...look out!

The perfect space!
There's a huge blank wall above my apartment's couch in the living room..that sign belongs there!!!
(my roommates will love it, i'm sure!)
Portland misses you
Hope to see you in Portland, OR again soon. Always a fantastic show!
"That's not a knife"
I plan on holding up the TAB sign at the NYE show then when I return home proudly displaying it in my "man cave"!!
New Kitchen
Aw man, if I won these, I could cross "new knives" off the list of items I need to furnish the kitchen in my new place.
And the TAB sign, well...they'd be placed in the kitchen as a warning to all....of what, I'm not sure.
My advice is simple: experience these artists.
SIGN@the dawg house
I think the sign would look good hanging at the dawg house out in the country ..........maybe TAB could swing by and sell me some knives door to door. Happy Holidays, Tim

Sweet
I would give half of that to my niece who turned me on to the Avett Brothers
It's the very last time...
No more Mr. dumb guy
nothing but five more
for nothing!
Points for nothing??
tab
one half on the front porch, the other above the fireplace
pick me
I would take it to the next Avett concert I went to and make y'all all laugh. And I would give the knives to my grandmother for Christmas.
Straight up my neighbors ass
Trade for dont let this happen to you!
Something broken for my wall...
