The series premiere of Parenthood is tonight, and we are thrilled to help kick off the first episode!

"Kick Drum Heart" will be featured in the first scene of tonight's show, so be sure to set your recorders now.

I heard " Head full of Doubt" playing during the previews of "Saving Grace" and had to do a double-take. I don't know anything about this show but I was pleased to hear the brothers on a nationally syndicated show. The secret is out! This band is the shiz-nit!

I watched Parenthood last night and I did not know that "Kick Drum Heart" was going to be featured! Then the opening scene and the first few beats I immediately thought, "Oh My God that is The Avett Brothers!" It was awesome! Congrats you guys!!! You guys are sure gonna break through fast. Just don't change!!!!! I love the new album, but your earlier stuff is what lured me in and is what I still go back to listen to over and over again! Keep it real and keep writing your amazing lyrical stories, your fans love you already the way you guys are and have been. Best Wishes!
