That is very cool. Of course being extremely biased, I would absolutely rate them much higher, but being on this list is very impressive for sure. The thing about a few of those acts (Of Montreal, Flaming Lips) they rely so much on flare and 'show' that putting the Avetts on there is more impressive. They don't rely on anything but the passion of their performance. They don't need freaking confetti or costumes and makeup to make it a 'great' show....I love the line about how they play 'like their lives are on the line.'
