I experieced the same encore at OCMS's Nelsonville show, Kesims. When they broke out the electric instruments, my husband and I just looked at each other. We love the Avett Brothers and Old Crow and found the timing very odd ourselves. But who wouldn't want to be more like the Avetts?

Also want to mention that we had the pleasure of meeting Willie outside after the show and, to my surprise, he was as nice and gratious as the Avett Brothers were to all us fans. I expected it from the Avetts from reading everyone's posts about them, but wasn't sure what to expect from Willie. Great end to a great evening.
