I'll say that I didn't think it was the best I've ever seen them, HOWEVER it was good for the simple fact that it was ACL. Parts of it seemed like they were barely holding on and just BARELY keeping things from falling apart. But that's also part of the excitement that you get with the Avetts. Sometimes they sound they're walking a tightrope of melody and broken strings, but somehow they make it through.

I hate to call it the "novelty" of what they do, but it's kinda true I think.
