I could accept simply not being interested in the Avett Brothers, but claiming that their boring and that all of their music sounds the same... Gah!

There's hope out there, though. I found a girl who's actually a bit of a metal head and into other music along those lines. She's introduced me to some of her kind of music (some of it I've loved, some of it... meh) and I've introduced her to some of my kind of music (indie and folk, and the same went for her.) Thankfully, the Avett Brothers went over very well with her. A Carolina Jubilee is (surprisingly) her favorite Avett album.

And thankfully, we both share the same appreciation for a lot of the same classic rock. And she loves the Beatles (I think being with an anti-Beatles girl would be even more terrible than an anti-Avett girl... X_X )
