"Here, enjoy this. And don't screw it up."

Haha! That's very funny. I'm sure ya'll will do fine. My Banjo is quite a puller on his leash, always has been, and I got him a harness a couple years ago that I like using. He used to have a metal slip collar, but his hair was rubbing away around his neck (not my fault he's too stubborn...haha!). I like the harness because I feel like I have more control over him; he's strong and hard-headed and doesn't like every other dog, and our walks are better now that we have that. Just a thought. I think ya'll should be able to figure out his needs pretty quick. I'll also support the suggestion of the Kong toy...although I knew a guy who had two pitts that tore them up, so they can be destroyed, I think it takes an extra special effort on the dog's part for that to happen. I've heard all good things about those to occupy a chewer. Best to walk him though and see how that works out for you...he'll tire out, chew a little on his Kong, and sleep next to you on the couch. How freakin' cute.
