I'm with you Drew. Few things are truly american made at this point. At least the labor to assemble the thing is in the US. I found one used on Ebay for $350 and snagged the thing. Its got a few nicks and scratches, but she sounds the same as the brand new one in my local guitar shop. I like a little character on my instruments anyway. I would love to own a nice Deering or Gibson, but I have to admit that the maple neck on the Goodtime is a turnoff for me. I'm sure the tone is there, but aesthetically it just reminds me of a strat neck slapped on a banjo.
