my husband surprised me this morning with a voucher he made for one road trip to oklahoma to see the avetts! this comes as a big surprise b/c the whole tour he's been telling me there's no way we could make it out to a show (he had a little trick up his sleeve). i didn't believe it was true until he showed me the tickets- then i broke out in a screaming fit. also, the ACL performance aired yesterday (the day before my bday). i can't wait. i wish our two year old could come. he loves TAB. last night after singing each tune from the ACL show he stood up, threw his hands in the air yelling "yay avett brothers!". he also said (on a close-up of scott) "that avett brother is cute". what a smart kid! can't wait to see everyone there.
