THANK YOU!!
what's crazy is i have apparently seen some songs on my current 'would love to see live' list.
ooops!
also, seeing this whole setlist for the first time ever...it's no wonder i became...
good lord. i don't know where to start!
their lyrics, their songs, their voices...give me goose bumps on a sweltering florida summer day.
when i was going to a very dark place in my life...their music showed me how to find the light again.
their music makes me very nostalgic and makes me think about the past and things i've done...but it always has that gentle push to keep moving forward and to do so, being TRUE to yourself and with love in your heart.
their music makes me dance and stomp around bursting with joy...and it can make me bawl my freakin' head off!
their music makes me shout the lyrics out to the world and fistpump in the air with pure exhuberance and a feeling of renewal and being free.
bottom line is...they touch me to my most inner depths, to my soul.
when we are young, they say we are a "blank slate". well, my slate may not be blank anymore...but The Avett Brothers are writing on it everyday...and for that, i am thankful beyond words.
Thanks for posting, was hoping to find it!
First time seeing them, many more to come if the future is kind to me.
