hey that's really cool. I have almost the exact same shot- taken July 24th at the Fillmore in Detroit...I had to look twice. I was at the front and mine was taken just before the show. If you want a look, it's at my site- "avidfan".

Best concert ever, the crowd was wild. The Avetts breathe music! Toronto LOVES the Avett Brothers!! Did we scream enough?

Toronto, Ithaca, Toronto (again!!! thank you) ,Lewiston and a 4 hr drive to Detroit! No such thing as too much of the Avett Brothers! I'l drive, fly anyway to be there....if you play it, I will come!! Can't wait!! Next time go big In Dublin....I'll be there too.

I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...the Avetts know how to play music- anytime, anywhere, any place. They are not tied to a studio. It's real music and they must be heard live to fully appreciate them. Their records are amazing but don't do them true justice. They are true performers who love to play for people.

I am addicted because each time they sing a song hey change it a bit and you love the variations- not like bands that try to replicate what is done in the studio. The brotherly harmonies and cohesion and sense of playfulness mean you never know what to expect.

I love the lyrics, melodies and harmonies. I also love the variations because you can sing along too. The more I hear them the more I need to SEE them and HEAR them. Just a really unique band.
