I started listening to The Avett Brothers in the Spring of 2008 when a mutual friend played some of their stuff for me.. I really picked them up more when I heard they were coming to Bonnaroo... When I saw them there for the first time I couldn't believe that they were 100x better live than on their albums... I basically died and have been obsessed ever since. They have a way with lyrics that no other band or singer/songwriter has. Every word and phrase that they sing means something special and the way the music is collaborated is beautiful... not to mention their voices which are perfection! The talent is ridiculous and they are also sooo nice in person. Not alot of artists have all of these things, they are my absolute favorite and I can't wait to hear what they have for us next!
