I know - I feel very much the way most of the fans posting below feel. John Mayer? Really? But at the same time I don't feel right for condemning the Avett Brothers for wanting to expand their fan base and reach more people. It's like saying, "Hey Avett Brothers, I LOVE you! But don't be famous/successful. You're mine! " Am I entirely happy about it? No, but it's not my call, it's the Avett's. I still love them and hopefully they can introduce John Mayer fans to some new and wonderful music.
