You hear from people all the time that music is their life. I am one of those people. I have music playing whether in my headphones, a cd player behind me, or in my car, constantly. I listen to music more hours out of the day than anything else. When I first heard Shame and not just heard but felt the melodies in Scott and Seth's voice, I was hooked. Instantly. Their music is like a drug and once you listen to your first song, you HAVE to have more. I own the majority of their records and continue to see them live wherever I can get to. I have seen them in 3 different states and never in the one I actually reside. I can never recommend them enough to friends or even strangers.

I think the main reason I am a fan is because the Avett Brothers are true, real, honest people. It comes across fully in their music and lyrics and real life. They are great and genuine people.

Thank you Avett Bros. for proving that there is still great music being made today. Thank you for the music!
