I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...my Dad (BW Carrigan) is a musician. I grew up in North Carolina listening to obscure, wonderful music. We were not allowed TV (thankfully) and at times our house would be full of people jamming. Dad would play guitar and we would all sing along. It was magic! These are wonderful memories and The Avett Brothers remind me of that. Their sound is pure and genuine. The Avett Brothers infuse the listener with hope and merriment. Their energy and excitement is contagious.
