I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...the Avett Brothers are one of a kind- a term that is way overused! THe sincerity of their music is something everyone could relate to. They put words to the essence of humanity...at least what it should be. I first heard i and love and you on one tree hill and HAD to youtube them straight away and the rest of their music. I was so lucky that I got to here them in Crawdaddy on their European Tour. The music just made you happy and just lifted you up. I'm helping to convert ireland one person at a time. While the Avett brothers songs are different than Irish laments or lively Irish music its essence of honesty and integrity are the same. Listen to Paul Brady, sean nos singing, the dubliners christy moore planxty or any session from an irish fleadh ceoil. I think you'd really love Ireland Avett Brothers cause we really love you!
