People can resell them for as much as they want (although not always legal). If it's a GA show buy the cheapest tickets you can find and get in line early. It's worth the wait to be up front.

Not sure if this addresses your question but the bros often tune down a half step so if you are trying to play along it won't sound right. Put your capo on the first fret, tune your instrument, then...

He strums the top string of each chord with his thumb as the bass line. So every time you switch chords strum the top string first then fill in below.
