I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... The Avett's are true. Their music has the deepest sincerity and the brothers can back it up. Truly a bunch of great guys, I was fortunate to meet them at at recent show and they were gracious and humble. Never once did they make me feel like I was some crazy fan who was bothering them. We talked, even shared a meal and it was one of the highlights of this year for me. Later I caught their show and had the privilege of hanging back stage while they played. At the end of the night as they were leaving, Scott walked directly up to me with his hand out and said "thank you so much, we'll see you down the road". I have to say that the set they played was amazing and it's no wonder, Scott, Seth, Bob, Joe and the entire crew were all real people.
