My daughter Ruby Rain was converted to an Avett Brothers fan with very little effort. It started with her hearing a few tracks off Carolina Jubilee and was later solidified by the easily identifiable tracks of Emotionalism. When we're having a hard time getting going in the morning the number one motivator is the promise that if she gets everything together she can watch a YouTube snippet from a live show or her thousandth viewing of the Die Die Die video. She was with me when we unwrapped our vinyl version of I and Love and You after it arrived in the mail.
