I have been an Avett Brothers fan for many years...since their early days playing AWESOME music at bluegrass festivals and the likes. Well, I was looking forward to some new tunes, but not a new band. What happened to the Avett Brothers I knew and loved? What happened to the BANJO?! And Rick Rubin? Really??? What a let down. The Avett Brothers were something special. They were different. Now they sound like all the rest

I'm sad you guys won't be at Old Settler's =( And having to choose between the festival and ONE Avett Brothers show in October is tough. Of course I want to see you guys in October, but not sure if I'm willing to give up the whole festival....
