I grew up in North Carolina, and some of my best memories are of my grandparents (who I dearly miss...) singing, playing guitar and banjo. I still have the 65+ year old guitar that my grandpa gave me when I was seven years old.
Listening to the Avett Brothers reminds me of those moments, and it is a very comforting, nostalgic feeling.
I wonder if those buying tickets on Friday are all going to be aware that they will have at least 2,500 people allowed to enter ahead of them? I know when I buy a GA ticket for a band, I expect that...
I'd love to go... but with ticket master fees it would be around $61 for each GA ticket to an incredibly crowded show.
Maybe if I were taller and wouldn't get swallowed by the crowd it would be...
I decided not to get one, but I really hope everyone else who goes has a lot of fun.
I just couldn't in good conscience pay $61.45 for just one GA ticket. $19 in convenience/print your own ticket...
Easy...
One of my favorite things to do is go out on a pontoon with some close friends... NC has a lot of nice lakes that are perfect for that.
Besides that - horseback riding!
