I was skeptical about the new album when I found it that it was produced by Rick Rubin. I have a pretty good feeling that this album will give the Avett Brothers a much deserved bit of fame. Generally I would be upset with one of my favorite bands coming out with something so commercially friendly. But it's good, and they deserve it.

The show was incedible. I took my girlfriend, who I successfully converted into an Avett Addict, we couldn't stop smiling the entire show. It's been decided that I will not miss a show within 200 miles of home. Thank you guys for staying real.

Still My Favorite
This is the first album I truly fell in love with. It was Christmas morning when I heard it for the first time, and after almost a year I still can't get enough of it. Talk of Indolence, Colorshow, Distraction #74, and Left on Laura, Left on Lisa are my favorite songs off of any of their albums, and to have them all on one is just incredible.
