I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... the music that these guys are composing is some of the most original music I have heard in years. I myself am a musician and a music major in college. I know how difficult it is to right music, much less make it sound good. The Avett Brothers cover so many genres on all of their albums. Most band just have one sound that they produce over and over. This is not the case with the Avetts. You can hear and feel what they are trying to get across to the listener. When you listen to the Avett Brothers, you are listening to true artists practicing their craft.
