This was backstage at the Oakland show in April. Such a dream come true for me! Zoe was finally able to meet Bob after the Savannah show last month and I thought she was going to pass out. It was really adorable.

I met them in San Francisco--we share a mutual friend--and I wasn't sure if we'd connect after this show or not. When Joe called and told me someone was waiting to let us on the bus, we all freaked! It was fantastic; they were all in their jammies but they all made a point of saying hi to the girls. It melted my heart, and the girls were beside themselves with excitement.

This was my seventh show this year, and every one has been phenomenal. But they've all been different! The first one was in San Francisco. I was super excited to get to meet them and get to know them...

I thought this show was a ton of fun, but it was definitely slower. I call it one of their "festival" set lists, as it was very similar to the set they played at Merlefest. I think for this type of...

They let my sister bring in her SLR, but told her to be subtle. They specifically said that cameras ARE allowed, but I think they meant point & shoot... Anyway, it was PHENOMENAL! Joe KILLED it...
