I implore the band---please insist fans stand up and dance. The Red Butte Garden is a beautiful outdoor venue, but tends to draw an older, well-to-do crowd that wants to sit in their REI low-lying chairs, sip their wine and chatter through the music.

There will be the hard-core Avett fans there, too---but if the band encourages a more active audience, it will be great.
