I first saw The Avetts on Conan when they performed "Paranoia." It was either late 2006 or early 2007. I was hooked. I had never heard anything like it and I loved it. I saw them in May of 2009 on my birthday when I was 7 months pregnant so it was a pretty special show =]. I already have my tickets to see them again in April 2010 and I plan to bring my son, who will be 8 months old then. I think it's going to be cool that he got to hear them perform inside and now outside the womb.
