This album is what transformed the Avetts from incredibly talented brothers who I was proud to have discovered, to an interaction of that talent with beautiful and meaningful work that could no longer be kept a secret!! I remember the first show I saw of the Avetts in 2006 at Casa Neuva in Athens, OH. This was a small venue fitting no more than 150 persons, and I had a distinct feeling that I had just discovered a gem of a band. I have never felt so strongly about any other band, and in particular their incredible live performance.

This is a creation made by true artists. It's not just the music, but those who had the depth and integrity to write it that I love. I've been a long time Avett fan but it was this album that inspired me in a lasting way. It will stand up to time for all that are not to frightened to see it.

Re: DAR Constitution Hall - SOLD OUT!
For as long as have loved going to see these guys, I am truly amazed and how much more dynamic and depth they have at each and every concert. Just when I think I've seen their best performance ever, they top it again and again. They are by far the best band I have ever seen, and will continue to be! Don't pass up the opportunity to see them for yourself.
