I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

I've known these guys since the days at Fat City Deli in Charlotte. We'd drive over after art shows to catch the guys playing old school gospel hits, like I'll Fly Away and Walking in Jerusalem Just like John. Seth would say about myself and the COA crew that I came with, "We knew them as the Avett Bros. before they knew that they were the Avett Bros."

I still say that a May show in 2003 at GW Tavern in Concord is the best AB show I've EVER seen and I've seen a few.
