I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...I have enjoyed the Avett Brothers music for a while now and I was fortunate to see their concert in Madison, WI last night. They played the Barrymore Theater, to a near capacity crowd (somewhere around 850 people). It was just a fabulous, high energy performance.

While I will be a fan for life is after the show, the band signed autographs in front of their tour bus. Every member thanked me for coming and they all were so polite and sincere, that I was taken aback. My 10 year old son was with me (yeah yeah, I know I am parent of the year for keeping my son out so late on a school night, but he really wanted to go to the show) and all of the members signed his autograph book and thank him for coming. He is still riding that high, probably will be for weeks.

I will now travel to see this band.
