I became an Avett Brothers fan because one of my best friends told me I just had to hear them. Almost immediately, I became a fan, and then got my sister hooked. Now the two of us are planning a road trip to see you guys in Cleveland.

The Avett Brothers are the only band I know that seems to spread almost exclusively this way - friend to friend. Every Avett fan I know learned about them this way. To me, that says something special about the band and what your music means to people.
