I was introduced to the Avett Brothers back in '06 by a dear pen pal. Their sound was something I had never really experienced before and it planted a seed in my heart that grew and grew. Over time, i was able to share the love I had for the music with my friends and my love for the boys and their music became a "family affair" in my house. Their music speaks to me in time of joy and sadness, even as their sounds evolves it is beautiful and relatable because they make music from their hearts and they're just so damn nice! How could you not like them?

The guys never disappoint, really. This year's show was just as amazing as last year's. Mountain Jam is one of my favorite festivals, so there's something extra special for me about seeing them there...
