In darkness comes light! Hope! ...However society create a world that has degenerated into a dystopia where advertising, commercialism, money, greed and cultural anti-intellectualism run rampant and human society becomes devoid of individual responsibility or consequences....Kinda like now.

Thanks for posting this "Behind the Scenes" look at the video. What an awesome idea for a storytelling video. The only downside was that my hand almost started cramping when I thought about all the hours of holding a brush and staring at a canvas...and then the painter mentioned having made a mistake and having to totally go back and redo a section. Ouch. Well no pain, no gain I guess.

The most amazing thing I have ever seen done with ultimately a single painting!
"2600 Paintings in 1" has portrayed the song's meaning incredibly well. The concept of working it into a music video is extraordinary. Jason Mitchem, the artist's wonderful animated painting style, choice of colors and balance of light throughout video seemed, as Scott mentioned, to transform a deeper meaning of the song. I hope to see more of this art representation of the Avett Brothers' music. It emulates, almost, like another instrument playing along in the "Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise" song's melody. Great creative minds thinking alike!

I would really really love to watch the making of video here in Germany but I can't find a way to do it. The music video itself is no problem so why the making of?
