The Avetts have that quality that is usually all too lacking in artists today. They have touching, smart lyrics, catchy, soulful tunes, and the energy they bring to every single show is unmatched by any other. Personally, they are the friendliest, most down to earth people imaginable- they've shared the stories behind Seth's rings, recommended books, and even took a surreptitious picture when they said they didn't have time to. I'm a fan because this music makes me feel home.
