Releasing anything exclusively through iTunes is bad enough, but 2 of my very favorite new songs have been totally and completely ruined.

Shame on you, Rick Rubin.

And shame on the avetts for letting their perfect songs be mutilated and offered up like this.

Awful, awful, awful.

Laundry Room has been an inspiration for me, and that's the track I've been screaming about to anyone and everyone that will listen for over a year now. This version is garbage. It's like they took everything good about that song (other than the lyrics) and just tossed it out the window. No passion. No intensity. No emotional charge. Just hollow and cheesy vocal mixes and terribly unnecessary instrumentation.

The title track is tollerable at best, but don't even get me started on the botch job they did on kick drum heart.

Terrible.
