Three days later, and having moved across state lines to Eugene, Oregon, the mAyVETT Tour continued. If I didn’t know better, I would I swear the band had planted a spy in line with us as we discussed songs we’d hoped to hear that night, because virtually every song from our wish list was delivered: “SSS”, “My Last Song to Jenny”, “Greensboro Woman”, and “Pretty Girl from Cedar Lane”, to name a few. I have seen my share of shows at Eugene’s McDonald Theatre, all of which I’ve enjoyed very much, but it seemed particularly meaningful to be virtually in my back yard and feeling as if the band was personally handing out one musical gift after another.
