Did anyone happen to get the set list? I am trying to remember the two songs that Seth and Scott did alone. The first was Murder in the City, but I can't remember the second. Does anyone have it?

For as long as have loved going to see these guys, I am truly amazed and how much more dynamic and depth they have at each and every concert. Just when I think I've seen their best performance ever, they top it again and again. They are by far the best band I have ever seen, and will continue to be! Don't pass up the opportunity to see them for yourself.

Anyone know when the Avett Brothers come on or if there is an opening act? All I see is 8pm from the DAR website. I assume that is when the doors open. Thanks

I say keep on ramblin' and go to those shows!! Life is too short not to enjoy great music! I will say that the last Avett show I went to (the two night NYE show in Ashevile) I noticed quite a large crowd of young fans...lots of teens (and I'm 24!) But hey, age is just a number when it comes to love for a wonderufl band.

Not making this one. Have seen you guys in Balto (Rams Head), Myrtle Beach (HOB) and Balto again (Pier Six), where someone asked hubby and me if we were your parents. ... Is it time to give up the concerts or can we adopt you?

I'll be honest, I saw Chelsea Handler at DAR last year and the sound wasn't great. It's a massive venue and if you don't have floor seats (even with the big screens) the guys will look like tiny ants. But like most of you guys I can't miss an opportunity whento see TAB when they play so close to home. Come on, February!

Flyin from Boston with my nephew and meeting my brother down there for both their 1st Avett show..I've only seen them once before but i'm pretty certain that this is the ONLY band I would ever put this much effort and preparation to go see..hope we get to meet the fellas and shake their hands for everything they do..

Why can't I buy tickets from this site? That's the only reason I signed up, and I refuse to buy from Ticketmaster. Sorry Avett Brothers. Maybe you'll come back to 9:30 Club or Black Cat.

Ok. That was a bit of an overreaction. I'll be there, but please make it worth the $11.00 in fees plus the $35.00 ticket price.

I too signed up thinking I could buy tickets. Definitely not cool. Expecting more from you guys. By the way, DAR is terrible. Can't walk up and buy tickets, need to use ticketmaster and pay exorbinate fee. Having second thoughts about showing up at all.

Found that out today; I was expecting some sort of notification; is that too much to ask? Was planning to head up to DC from Atlanta, but now only bad seats are available. I don't want to be in the BACK for the Avetts. Again, many thanks to the powers that be at Sony.

When do the actual tickets go on sale?

I set up an account and lay in wait for 12 noon on Monday to get pre-sale tickets. At exactly high noon, I got in the system and selected 2 tickets. Within 15 seconds the Pre-sale was sold out. Not cool. How could it sell out in 15 seconds. If one of the benefits to being a member of the fan community is getting pre-sale tickets...it sure would be nice to have a real shot at them. Just venting. Still love you guys.

couldn't care less if the venue sucks and if i miss a few c***tails to make up for tickets fee i'm just happy anytime the AB play within road trip distance of me....can't wait!
