I am trying to buy 3 tickets but cannot seem to do so online. Does anyone know a link that does work, or have 3 tickets that they would like to sell? Please let me know

This will be my first show, and I can't even begin to express how excited I am! I am so grateful for Harding hosting The Avett Brothers, but I am a little concerned about what I have heard is a rule at the university that bans dancing. Surely this can't be true, right? I plan on getting down with the rest of you all!

This will be our first Avett show! I'm excited about Langhorne Slim too!

Alright, so FINALLY got tickets and am glad I waited. The "pre-sale" provided a special price of $35 for GA floor tickets, which are closest to the stage. Also, according to the website, the first 30 buyers will get advanced access to the auditorium in order to get up front. I'm not sure how that will work, but I bought my tix the moment the site opened up, so hopefully I made it in that first 30. It was a stressful couple days, but I am PUMPED!

I suggest folks trying to call the box office if they're not able to get the tickets online. They're very helpful.

I'm just excited that they're going to be less than a mile from my house. After traveling more than 8 hours to see them on more than one occation, it'll be nice to practically be able to walk to the venue (I'll actually drive but it's within walking distance).

Yeah, this whole "pre-sale" has been less than well-organized. I'm not sure it counts as a "pre-sale" since tickets went on sale for registered members Monday and supposedly to the public today at 10:00 but the "pre-sale" doesn't begin until noon today. The link says these 300 tickets are "one-day only" tickets, which makes me think they will be less than the $50 two-day tickets. That's the only advantage I can think of at this point, but I don't even know if that's accurate since it doesn't give any details at all on the email.

I'm irritated that us fan's didn't get a "presale" until this morning. Yet any non-fan could create an account at the hardingcabticket.com site and get the tickets at 10:00 AM on the 21st. I did get them the other day but you would think the true fans would have had first dibs.

Got the code this morning. Well, not so much a code as a link to a special set of 300 one-day tickets. Not sure if that means the tix are cheaper or not.

I still have not gotten that code that was supposed to come out this morning. Have any of you?

Is there anything I need to do to get the passcode? I've RSVP-ed to this event, and i'm registered on the concert page.
I've not received the passcode, but if its not supposed to come until tomorrow at 8, then perhaps I just need to be patient.

I am taking my 9 year old son(huge fan) and his 68 year old grandfather(huge fan) to the concert. In my excitement, I purchased 3 GA, what I assume now are floor/standing up the whole time tickets.

I think I should have bought a ticket in Sections 1 to 5 which I assume are actual seats. Does any one have any advice or know what the return policy is?

Should I just try to sell them to someone and order the correct ones?

I just bought my tickets! While getting to see The Avett Brothers it will also be my birthday. Mostly likely be the best birthday yet.

Just fyi if anyone is interested - if you go to www.firstthawfestival.com it give all the bands that will be playing and Avett Brothers are listed for 9:00 pm on Saturday night - the last band to play.

FYI, the reserved seats are apparently behind the GA floor, so GA floor if you want to be close, GA floor looks to be the best bet.

Also, I finally got an email back about the email passcode we were supposed to receive. Apparently, that will not come until tomorrow at 8:00. The sender said they have a select number of one-day only tickets. I don't know if that means they will be cheaper or not. I went ahead and bought GA floor tickets at full price today. Not taking a chance on missing out.

For those wondering... If you create a LOGIN on hardingCABtickets.com using the email you use for this site, you can go ahead and buy tickets. I got dead center in the seats, 5 rows back... THEY LET YOU PICK YOUR SEATS!! I had never seen that in my Panic and Phish days

Did anyone ever get the passcode for the special pricing? I talked to a lady at Harding CAB Tickets who said that we as fan club members should have gotten a passcode to get discounted tickets.

I had to go ahead and buy them at $50 a piece so that my seats didn't suck...

Is there a discount code for members? I've not received an email yet.

Avett Brothers are Saturday April 2nd. forsure. Although i have read they start playing at 7pm and 9 pm, So I am not sure what time they actually start to play on Sat.

I bought the ticket off of that harding link posted a few down and when it was sent to me, it says the date is for april 1??? Nothing about the show on the second. I'm worrying here... someone explain!

So I created a General Public Login account on the www.hardingCABtickets.com website. There's a note after I logged in saying that tickets would be available on Feb. 21st. I am not sure if they will let us get tickets tomorrow being General Public but they may.

I am just starting to get nervous since I haven't gotten an email with the code yet. I want to make sure my folks and I get tickets.

Is the price $35 plus fees or what? Do you have to buy a two day pass?

Looks like we're in business! I got another response from Paul, the Avetts' booking agent. If you're a member of this site, you are a member of the "Fanclub." If you aren't a member of the site, click "join the community" and become a member. The email should be coming soon. Enjoy the show! Here's Paul's message:

You have to “join the community” at the top of the page, and submit your email so they can send you an email with the password. It has just dawned on me that the mass email with the password has not been sent out yet, so stay tuned, it should be coming in the next few days.

Alright, I already got a super-fast response from Paul, the Avetts' booking agent. He says we will not have access to special pricing, but we should have access to the early sale on Monday. He's not entirely sure about the code, so I'm still researching that. Will let you know if I can find an answer. Hopefully in the middle of all this, we'll get the email we're all waiting for, and I will feel like an idiot for being all worried about it.

NO special price for Avett fan club members, just the opportunity to purchase before the general public. As for better seats, not really either. They split the allotment up, so students will have the opportunity to buy seats that are primo as well

Good question, Kobi. It makes me nervous that we are going into the weekend before Monday's presale, and we haven't heard anything official yet. Hopefully I'm not being a panicked pest, but I've emailed the Avett's manager and booking agent with the hopes of getting some kind of answer from someone "in the know." My major concern is not the $15 savings (although that's really nice); I just want to get the best seats possible. Getting in on the presale is important to me, and I'm assuming that's the major concern of all of us here. If I get an answer, I will post it here. I know all of us will be happy when we have those tickets in our hands.

Alright y'all, looks like I might have some good news to share. I got an email back from a representative of the Rhodes Fieldhouse (nice and really helpful guy named Corey) who says that we should be getting an email soon from the Avetts with a passcode that will give us access to early tickets and special pricing. So looks like $35 and sale on Monday, Feb 21. Yay us! It pays to be a fan, eh?

Yeah, Brianphi has the link above, and indeed it says that the cheaper rate ($35) and earlier sale (Monday, Feb. 23) applies not only to students, faculty, and staff but members of the fanclub as well. I'm assuming this is the official fanclub, so that applies to us, but I'm not certain. The link for "buy" on this site is not functioning. I'm wondering if that's because tickets have not yet gone on sale. I'm scared of missing out, though. I've emailed the venue and found that they will have reserved seating as well as GA tickets. I've been waiting for this forever, and I want to get the best seats possible. I'd really like to know what the deal is before Monday.

It says that on Feb. 21 students/faculty and Avett Brothers Fanclub tickets go on sale, if we are members of this site, does that make us part of that Feb. 21st group?

Tickets are $35 for Fanclub and $50 for General Public.

General public sale starts on the 23rd of Feb. before that only students are able to buy.
