Another AWESOME show guys!!! I'm so glad we got to see you again, we have lucked out in every state we have been stationed in, it's been close to an area you all have come to play in. I hope to see you all again soon, and am super glad you got to meet Kyler this time around. He was so excited to meet his cousins and watch them perform, as this was his first concert, at age 9 no less! You made Jazz Fest ROCK! Be safe and congrats again on the new munchkin!!!

Can't think of a better group to kick off the opening weekend of Jazzfest.

This will be a great show. If you've never been to N'awlins, much less Jazz Fess, you're sure to be in for a treat! They will play only an 1.5 hour set on the Gentilly Stage (same one My Morning Jacket rocked out on last year), but they're closing out the day (5:30-7:00 p.m. CST), which is a big honor at Jazz Fess. They will follow Mumford & Sons who will play from 3:25-4:50 p.m. Too bad the Avetts are playing same time as Robert Plant/Band of Joy (well, also Wyclef Jean...ha!), but the decision should be a no-brainer, right? See you SDTL!

Yes! So much closer to home than any other Avett concert I've been to! I can't wait! Thanks guys, it should be a great weekend!!! See you there!
