Avett Brothers concert Virgin

So, I've never been to an Avett Brothers show before. Recently I purchased tickets to see them in Huntington, WV, and I have a few questions for the people who've been to their concerts before.
Do they do signings at shows?
And if they do, do they do the signings before or after their shows? How do you find out about these signings?

they usually don't do "official" signings, but you can hang around after the shows and sometimes they will come out and sign stuff.
Zach is right...it will all depend on the security at the venue also. Sometimes the bus may be behind a fence or somewhere you cant get to...If you can get to the bus just hang out after the show...they may or may not come to greet the fans and sign stuff. I lucked out in Roanoke in July. First time stalking the bus after a show and got to meet Joe for the first time and Scott, Seth and Bob for the third time! It takes a while but it was worth the wait for me!

Great to hear your coming to the Huntington show. I agree with the rest. I've met all of them before. Joe seems to be the easiest to get to meet. My son was raised up by Bob after the second show in Nelsonville, OH. We got to meet everyone there. We spoke with Scott and Seth before the show in the parking lot. Very humbling to talk with them. They are so down to earth and don't act like other bands out there. They really show their appreciation towards the fans. They are great to meet. Hope you get your chance too. Hope you won't be dissapointed by the show either. I don't think you will be. Welcome to the first of many to come.

I think the best thing to do is find the bus.
If you have a little bit of patience, you'll meet them.
Sometimes it takes a little while but they'll get there.
In my experience Bob is the hardest to meet.
But if he comes out with the other guys, he will definitely talk to you.
We talked to all the guys after the Northhampton show the other night.
All the guys are great about signing stuff and pictures too.
