Great! I'll check that one out. It must be the sequel or something!

I'd say they probably like Jeremiah Johnson...though I have no real evidence of this, I am basing it entirely on the fact that the movie is awesome.

I've never heard of Jeremiah Johnson before, but that is the fifth time I've heard about it in the past 3 days.

I'm pretty sure that in one of the 1000's of interviews I read that they don't do alot of movies, TV, internet, books because they spend most of their time entertaining themselves( ie, writing, sketching, skateboarding, playing games...) If I remember the interview I will try to dig it up.

Jeremiah Johnson has been on my Netflix for months. Now I'll have to wait again because the undoubtedly 1 copy that they have has probably been asked for by someone on the boards. hahaha

No joke after the Nashville show and the bros came out as the Three Amigos, I couldn't get the movie for a long time do to the wait. I swear it was all those fans at the Ryman! Smiling

I just added it- Jeremiah Johnson, I mean. Thanks- and at least you are ahead of me wifeoftinman Smiling OH, what optimism.

Braveheart

I would guess they've seen a few romantic movies...but I don't think they believed them.

I believe that Scott cried like a baby at the end of Where the Red Fern Grows.

Of course, he read the book first.

Because they read books. Many leather-bound books.

Scott told me he watched Fight Club too many times. Then we fought.

Jeremiah Johnson got brought up in an Avett related conversation I was having with my Dad the other day. I was telling him about the Ann Arbor show and he made a comment about how he thinks they look like mountain men at times. (he doesn't like them, I'll just say he's confused.) then I went on to give him a mini history lesson on mountain men and then we ended up talking about Jeremiah Johnson. ohhh it was this whole thing...

The soap making in Fight Club grosses me out every time. hahaha.

how about there will be blood? hmm wonder if they would like that movie.

I know Ive watched way to many times.

Jeremiah Johnson is my 2nd favorite movie of all time. Seriously.

1st being Johnny Depp's black/white classic western, "Dead Man".

If y'all haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and try to track it down and watch it. Neil Young did all the instrumental work for the soundtrack. Greatest movie ever. Jeremiah Johnson's not far behind, though.

OOOHHH, I actually know the answer to this! I finally met Seth the other day, at the movies. We were both seeing Shutter Island.
