With Me and my wife we are up to 4 already!
I'm in. Maybe my boyfriend too, but he doesn't know it yet. Chico's has pretty good margaritas too-- another bonus. (But if you go for the food, go to Mi Cabana instead. And they have better margaritas.)
Anyways, it's late. But the point is, I would be in.
Im in, so is my wife. Plus a good friend of mine is a waitress there. Are we talking about the one in Winterville or Greenville downtown?
Or, we could always have a bonfire out at my place. Middle of nowhere, crank up the tunes, howl at the moon.

Me and WantedMan started talking about this at his birthday bash this past Friday, and I was able to find this topic and bring it back.
Seriously, is anyone still interested? Chico's (which is undeniably appropriate), Ham's, wherever? How about in the first couple of weeks in December, so it will actually happen?

Y'all missed a heck of an Oyster Roast this weekend. If this had popped up earlier, I would have thrown the invite out.
Alright...I'm bumping this in the hopes that maybe some people missed it a couple weeks ago. Also, for anyone who's interested, how is Saturday December 8th? I think Chico's is probably the most appropriate spot, but we can discuss any severe opposition later. Dinner...drinks and chips...both...whatever...
I guess this is me trying to make a plan, so RSVP? It will be fun!
I'm currently in Lumberton now, but I travel to Greenville quite often. I would love to schedule something along the lines of what you guys are talking about, although its obvious that some of us would need to know in advanced since we might have to commute. I also think the winterville Chico's would be the place to hold the event since thats where many of us saw them for the first time, but I'm down with whatever. It would be nice if they would let us play the records while holding the event. However, I would greatly appreciate the chance to share stories with all of you so if anyone sets a date please be kind enough to let me know!!

Also, I don't want to reveal myself as an outsider, but I actually never had the chance to see the guys play at Chico's (my first show was in Greenville, though), and I honestly didn't even know there was one in Winterville (:blush:). So I had been thinking about the Chico's in Greenville, but I don't really mind.
This sounds fun and we will actually be in town this weekend. Count on me and my better half being there.
I also think it would be fun to meet at Chicos in Winterville. My first TAB show was there as well.
Sorry guys, I cant do it on Friday. My in laws are having a dinner for me in Farmville at teh Buzzaround Cafe.

It was fun...just me and my boyfriend and WantedMan and his wife (did we miss you Amy?:unsure:). Not much, but it's a start. We shared some good stories and laughed a lot. Next time I hope we can get some more people. Sorry you couldn't make it out, Obnoxio (and also happy belated birthday!). I guess the next time will be some time next month?
Thanks for the birfday wishes. Sounds like a good time. We should start planning soon for the next one. Alas, most of you will be in Charlotte for the NYE show, and I will be here in Greenville.

Whatever you do, if you happen to eat dinner at The Buzzaround Cafe in Farmville, DO NOT order the Chicken marsala.
Everything else there is awesome, but the dinner I ordered was nothing nearly resembling chicken marsala. I even volunteered to go into the kitchen and teach the chef how to properly make it.
Oh well, I got a free Bannanas Foster out of it.
