I tried just after noon and got the 'presale sold out' - went back 5 mins later and got 2 for Ithaca. My first Avett show!

Keep trying all day. I had to hit it a couple of different times before the 'buy tickets' sign came back up. Dan Smalls Presents (Ithaca area promoter I think) also has an email member sale on Thursday before the plebians on Friday. You just sign up for DSP email. Good luck.
I got some riser seats for Tupelo. I noticed that all of the rest of the places kept releases new tickets every ten minutes.

@judes53 I got the same thing with the Ithaca presale. Got seats in row D in balcony, which seem pretty good. This will be my boyfriend's first Avett show. We're going to camp at a state park that's only like 6 miles from the venue that has some amazing hikes.
Awful! I got in right at 12 and had two tickets for 5th row but they were so far over to the side I went to try again and they were gone. I was so pissed at myself! I've never done this before so lesson learned for next time I guess. I've been trying off and on all day but none for 2 tickets. Only the same 1 ticket keeps showing up. I'm so bummed now. My awesome day went downhill after this.
What I don't get is Ticketmaster says there's a presale tomorow and says you need a password. Ticketmaster also claims they don't give the passwords, they come from the artists or fan clubs. I emailed Artist Direct who handled the presale today and they said they aren't affiliated at all with Ticketmaster and it wouldn't be there password. I've looked all over the internet and kind find anything about a presale password for them tomorrow. I guess i'll try at 10 and see what happens. If not, I'll be trying Friday I guess.
I'm just so bummed out as this would have been our first "real" TAB show for hubby and I. We went to the Indianapolis one but we were so far away and had the kids with it so it wasn't the greatest experience. Still good but I was so looking forward to great seats at the Morgantown show!
Most of the time, the ticketmaster presale password comes from the venue itself, if it has a mailing list. It can also come from a local radio station, and sometimes from Live Nation.
anitamyanita: glad u got tix. I took GA. I love Ithaca. Give yourself extra time for will call pick up. Sometimes its a bit slow for popular bands. Ithaca promoter, Dan Smalls Presents is running a presale tomorrow. You just have to sign up for their email for those interested.
bdiddy: sorry you had no luck. You could possibly try to go the venues' website and see if there is any info about presales.
Glad to have gotten the tickets for Ithica they went fast....... We saw them there twice and it's a great place...Not to mention the brewery's and wineries...See you all there...
I'd love to hear them do their version of Rodney Crowell's " Song for the Life" sometime...That's a great song and their a great band. It would totally kick -ss!!!!
