Morgantown Presale Oh What A Nightmare

Morgantown Presale Oh What A Nightmare

The Morgantown presale lasted about one minute as far as I can tell. Now I know that there were only 200 seats available and obviously I'm writing because I didn't get ahold of one but.... the fact is scalpers or at least fans that do not want to see them got ahold of tickets with the intentions of reselling. I would rather the band charge 200 bucks per ticket and see the money go to them rather than someone that got 'lucky' enough to type in the security code faster than me. Certainly there has to be a way that the tickets being sold are going to people that are interested in actually 'seeing' the band perform.

Why are you so sure that the tix aren't going to fans, especially with all these will call only shows. (I don't know if Morgantown was will call only tix)

yes the will call only was put in place not too long ago to reduce scalpers. Don't worry extras always pop up. Keep checking the tickets section here. And you still have the general sale.

Hey Bandit,

Prolly just mad I didn't get tix!!!

I know quite a few people that got tickets but some that didn't also...I got 1 row G right at 12:00 and tried non-stop until 12:50 and got another, row K for a friend. It being will call should cut out the scalpers. Good Luck tomorrow!!!

I think when they switched to will call only for pre-sales, it greatly reduced scalpers and re-sellers. I was able to get a ticket without a problem, but I was only trying for one. As far as I know, all of my friends who tried were able to get tickets.

You also have to take into account that they're very popular in WV, there were only 200 pre-sale tickets, and this is a very small show. Believe it or not, I've seen pre-sales not sell out.

There was actually a long discussion on here with a representative from their record label about how the fans would like to see the pre-sales run, and how they could be made better for us. Making the tickets will call only was one of the most suggested changes, and that was put in place. They do actually listen and they do actually care.

I was frustrated on pre-sale day too. But I checked stub-hub and only 5 or so postings are there for the show (200-300 bucks though!).

You didn't get tix at all? Sorry dude.
